MOVING AGRICULTURE FORWARD TO MEET FOOD CHALLENGES


To feed close to 10 billion people by 2050, agricultural production will have to increase by more than 70%. These major demographic challenges are accompanied by greater urbanization
and changes to living standards and eating habits. Climate change also has to be taken into account, as does the need to preserve natural resources.
It will thus be necessary to produce more and better.
