biolice, finding new applications

biolice, the plastic material that is 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable is made from whole cereal grains. It is an alternative to petroleum-based products. In 2009, LCI developed and patented a new non-food extrusion process. The film obtained is more transparent, softer, less pervious to oxygen, more rigid and more resistant. This material, with considerably improved printing and sealing properties, will help LCI to meet the expectations of industrialist and different applications more efficiently.
