“Implementation of the ESSOR* project in the industrial part of the Jacquet factories has involved total rethinking of how we function. Its objectives are to simplify processes and communication, to make all people involved feel responsible, and to recognize and make use of skills, at the same time improving on performances. We no longer consider things by job function, but by global process, from beginning to end. At Saint-Beauzire (Auvergne, France), we have recruited six internal Managers who supervise teams that master a linear process. They now rely on co-ordinators who are specialized per domain in each of the teams. This far-reaching change in management should start paying off very soon.”
