The Co-operative currently represents a community of 3,500 members and the Group today employs a staff of almost 7,200. In more than 45 years, Limagrain has grown from 100 people in 1965 to nearly 7,200 in 2011. At the same time, its sales of one million Euros have exceeded one billion, reaching 1.5 billion Euros in 2011. The Group's evolution has been gradual, through internal growth and external acquisitions all over the world. Since its creation, Limagrain has always been convinced that the proximity of its employees to their markets is essential to understand the challenges and rise to them as efficiently as possible. The Group's current organization in fourteen “Business Units” covers all the Group's operational activities and accommodates this proximity with the market.
