In field seeds, Limagrain Central Europe covers Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, as well as Romania, Bulgaria, Moldavia, Serbia, and is responsible for the promotion of Limagrain's genetic resources. In vegetables, the Group has continued to reinforce its positions.

In North America, Limagrain works in association with the German seeds company KWS for greater strength in meeting the challenges of the largest corn market in the world. Founded in 2000, AgReliant is the 4th largest company in this market for corn and soybean seeds.

In Japan, through Kyowa and Mikado, the Group is has prepared for the imminent emergence of a top-flight
seeds unit, currently the 4th largest on the vegetable seed market in Japan.

In China, a gigantic market opening up further every day, the Group is today reaping the first benefits of investment granted for several years to Limagrain China, which has gained in credibility through the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of China to Auvergne in April 2006.

In the field, a joint venture and several commercial agreements have led to the development of an innovative R&D set-up, and already substantial business, particularly in vegetable seeds.

In India, another major market in full development, Limagrain has chosen to cooperate with Avesthagen, a leader in biotechnology applied to health, with a view to setting up a seeds unit adapted to the realities of the country.

In Thailand and Indonesia, Marco Polo Seeds runs research programs and is developing its first commercial activities.
