The stakes for society: Meet the growing evolution of mankind's needs

In 2050, in order to satisfy the needs of the planet's nine billion inhabitants, all farmers will need to be mobilized to increase agricultural production by 70%, providing consumers with safe, healthy products. Agriculture will need to meet this challenge with limited arable land, while being more economical in its use of resources (water, fertilizers, energy, etc.).
