For Limagrain, the Cereal Products activity, including Bakery Products and Cereal Ingredients, is a fundamental outlet for the valorization of the agricultural production of its members.
With Jacquet-Brossard, Limagrain works right to the end of the wheat chain, creating a link between the farmer and the baker. The No. 3 in France for bakery-viennoiserie-pastries proposes a very rich range of products to consumers and professional operators.
With Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients (LCI), the Group continues to affirm the importance of controlling germplasm and industrial transformation processes to valorize cereal qualities. LCI meets the requirements of processors and industrialists and the expectations of consumers. LCI is the European leader for functional flours.
Bakery Products
The Bakery Products Division made sales of 184 million Euros over the fiscal year (excluding Brossard), representing 12% of the Group's activities. The year was marked by growth of more than 5%, but also by the acquisition, in May 2011, of the company Brossard, specialized in pastries. Complementary in their markets and both in possession of a strong brand name, the two companies have come together to form today the Business Unit Jacquet-Brossard.

Cereal Ingredients
The activity of the Cereal Ingredients Division represents 5% of Limagrain's sales. Its sales increased considerably, reaching 75 million Euros, a rise of 20% compared with the previous year. This is a historic performance positioning Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients even more as a crucial player on its five application markets: “Bakery”, “Snacks”, “Breakfast cereals”, “Convenience foods” and “Non-food products” (compostable bioplastics).
